Chapter 29 The Awkward Meeting

• As they started their discussion, I only understood that they were discussing something that had to do with long-time dealings, which they had suspected Jake was among. And the foreigners in their midst were there to help clear Jake's name, or so I thought. And a few more people who were going to deliver certain products too in partnership with Jake's new partners. And, there was a man who had arranged the partnership and was the host of this party. He was also trying to make sure that the foreigners and these new partners could agree with his deal. And to entertain them he was continuously sending his girls to them, and they were touching the men in some vital parts. The men had all come with their female partners, but they weren't looking like their girlfriends or wives. They were like call girls. And they were all staring at Jake lustfully. Some of them were even offering him wine, while some were trying to get his attention by chewing and biting the corners of their lips. Once my phone dropped down from my hand, and I bent down to pick it up, I was stunned at what I saw under the table. The woman who was sitting by Jake's right side was unzipping his trousers shamelessly. It was a gory sight to behold. And they all had come with their partners. Still, they were trying to arouse Jake.
• After picking up my phone, I looked up at Jake and saw him drinking his wine as if nothing was going on around him. He remained focused on their discussion without even blinking an eye. Or, maybe, he was enjoying it, I thought and I twisted my face in disgust.
