Chapter 31

• With a calmer air I return to the living room, to notice that most have taken their table already, so our return to the place is quite noticeable by those present.
• At our table Josh and Colin maintain a forced countenance with Angelo and Isabella, but neither of these speak to each other.
• Our arrival alerts everyone and my eyes immediately connect with Angelo's, a sudden shift occurs in my body, the warmth I feel running down my spine, accompanied by a shiver makes me clench my jaw tightly.
