Chapter 21

• We arrive at a rather nice Italian restaurant. My brother knows I'm dying for pasta, however and despite the fact that I've eaten almost nothing, my appetite is almost null.
• The excitement I see on Anne's face is not enough to brighten mine, my major goal, my degree makes me feel satisfied, but that's about it. Having my brother by my side makes me feel secure, but I still don't have the fullness.
• I give myself several mental slaps, mainly for thinking about all this, for being so ungrateful at this moment, having what I always dreamed of, my brother by my side, fulfilling my career goal and embarking on a new future.
