Chapter 25

• I haven't had time to get dressed up much, so Angelo has only put on his shirt without a jacket, and, to tell the truth, neither of us is going presentable to the office, but the issue Adriel was talking about seems urgent.
• Although I have no idea what might be going on, something has me on edge, it's as if I have a feeling that hasn't stopped nagging me since Adriel's message was read aloud.
• Angelo's hand intertwines mine with his fingers, caressing me with his thumb. His countenance is worried, perhaps in anticipation as he drives.
