• The duel would be happening tonight, and from the way Valerie was acting, it was like she had already concluded that it was the day I would die. She had been totally restless, she didn't even sleep last night.
• Right now, we were in the living room, together with the full pack house. Jamie, Carrie, Damien, Amelia, Marcel, David, Dante, Fredrick, even Sophia. A few elders were also here. We were presently discussing plans and possible outcomes. Even Amelia seemed to be concerned for me, which was new. She should be happy. If I get taken down, her son would have a chance of becoming Alpha like she had always wanted.
