• I crouched next to Aria and tried to pull her hair away from her face, but she jerked from my touch as always. “Alpha Slade took over my pack almost three years ago,” I started. I hate to relieve those memories but the only part that gives me joy is knowing he’d not gone scot-free after what he did to my pack.

He wanted us to surrender,” I chuckled bitterly.
