• Blood Pack members surround Theo's mansion, grieving their Alpha’s death as I brought Theo’s corpse into a casket. As a sign, I come in peace and not in violence. The Pack, seeing the sign, understood I was not threatening their lives and dropped their fighting stances.
• The Pack elders came forwards with poker faces beneath them. I could feel their hate for me flaring and Ray trying to push their wolf into submission to us, but I stopped Ray because they were grieving their dead Alpha.
