• I sat on the couch as Drake changed into another costume, which took forever. Since his dragon shifter secret got out, I think he's hiding from me. Is it possible that the Dragon narrative Drake told me about is based on actual events rather than fiction? I need to ask him. I needed to know more about this magical thing surrounding me, threatening to blow my brains out.
• I tried to brush aside the headache that started reappearing at the same time that I felt disoriented when Silas transformed into a wolf. Could it be that my body cannot cope with magic, and I sense this way? I can't help but wonder why these mythical beings are following me; after all, I'm just a human.
