Chapter 26 The Uncovering Of Illusion

• My pulse beat quicker, and my palm grasped the steering wheel as I saw the wolf, much larger than typical wolves whose canines appeared threatening; the wolf’s saliva dripped from its mouth as it snarled at me. In a split second, I saw Silas dart in front of my car, his speed otherworldly, his garments shredding so quickly that his human flesh changed into fur. Silas morphed into the wolf standing before me, snarling at the growling wolves. The three smaller wolves seemed intimidated by Silas’ enormous black wolf.
• I gasped, horrified to witness Silas’ wolf slash the other wolves so viciously, shedding blood and fur and ripping apart horrible body parts. Like something out of a horror film.
