• The blind date I had with Serah turned out to be a disaster, and we both ended up deciding to fight for our respective partners, but I really doubt my parents understand the situation. We've been stuck on this same conversation for three hours now, and it's getting exhausting. My dad has picked up on my mom's strange behavior, yet she still hasn't found the courage to tell him about her cancer. He tries to act tough, but I can see that he's struggling emotionally.
• After seeing the video of Serah and me, my mom was really let down and immediately suggested setting me up on another blind date. It's like she just won't take no for an answer. Meanwhile, Ethan is still giving me the cold shoulder, and it's obvious to everyone in the house. He hasn't shared what went down that night, and Izzy, who thought everything was fine between us, is dying to know the details. She has no clue about Ethan's feelings for Zoe, and I’m not about to spill that secret. I really miss Zoe's cooking; she was the best chef I knew, second only to my mom, but with her condition, she can't cook anymore. The chefs my dad hired just don’t cut it; their meals are nowhere near as satisfying as what Zoe used to whip up.
