• Janice's pupils shrank when she noticed the glaring light coming closer to her face. When it got closer, she saw that it was a sharp dagger! Right before the weapon came in contact with her, two fingers reached over to hold onto the blade. The sharp edge of the dagger was pointing directly toward Janice's face. "T-This is…!" Janice's face turned pale, and her voice was trembling as she spoke.
• "The Murphy Family sent someone over," Daniel uttered as a deadly glare flashed across his gaze. He used his fingers to flick the dagger aside. "I want to play a game with you, Denise. You can close your eyes and count from one to a hundred, and I'll come back with tons of red cloth for you, okay?" Daniel said in a gentle voice as he turned to Denise.
• "Sure!" Denise clapped her hands excitedly. She shut her eyes without any hesitation. Once Janice understood that someone was out to kill them, she quickly covered her hands over Denise's eyes. Her pretty little face was filled with anxiety and fear. "What do we do now? Do we run?" she asked.
