Chapter 88 Treasure Hunt

  • I don't think these two killers will make a move anytime soon, Daniel thought to himself. There are way too many people here. I have to find a way to leave this place. Coincidentally, the first game ended right in time, and the female teacher announced the second game—a treasure hunt. The participants would have to go up Dragon Hill in Fairview Park to find a piece of red cloth. The teachers hid 20 pieces of red fabric all over the hill, so the ones who found the most amount of cloth would get a reward.
  • Dragon Hill was one of the famous tourist spots in Goldshore, and the primary purpose of this activity was so that the kids and their parents could enjoy the view of nature around them. The game was just to add some fun to it. Daniel curled his lips into a smirk when he heard the teacher's words. This was the perfect opportunity! Dragon Hill was a huge place, and Daniel knew the rest of the parents wouldn't follow behind him if he headed in a specific direction. That way, he could eliminate the two killers without being seen by anyone else.
  • After the teacher was done explaining the rules, all the kids were prepared to run off. However, their parents held them back. All of the parents were clearly eyeing Daniel, whether in an obvious or subtle manner, to see the direction that he was headed in. "Let's go," Daniel uttered before lifting Denise into his arms. Janice followed closely behind him, and they headed toward the west of the hill.
