Chapter 103 Ocean’s Heart

  • The auction hall wasn't as large as the ones seen on TVs. Instead, it looked more like a café setting with dim lights. Only a single spotlight illuminated the stage in the center, and the sides of the room were surrounded by one-way glass. Behind the one-way glass were private rooms.
  • Before the auction began, Daniel, Phantom, and Tigre received seats on one of the square tables. William was sitting with them as well. "Young Master Daniel, this—" Daniel interrupted William before William could finish his sentence. "Don't call me that. I owe you one for this, and I owed you one in the past, so it's a total of two favors," Daniel uttered flatly. William was stunned to hear this. He knew that Daniel was referring to how he had auctioned his project in exchange for Vitality Water and how he had previously agreed to work with Janice. Deep down, William was pleased for his actions to be acknowledged. After all, no amount of money can buy me a favor from Lord Hades!
  • But William quickly contained his emotions before responding in a polite tone. "My old man told me to help you with this. I'd never dare say that you owe me a favor." Tigre was tongue-tied as he heard the conversation between the two men. What is Sir's true identity? I always thought that William just wanted to be good friends with Sir, but I hadn't expected William to call Sir 'Young Master Daniel'! If outsiders hear William saying this, they will lose their minds.
