• It had been days, and I hadn’t heard anything more about Darren. I was completely focused on solving the brainwashing in the kingdom. We now had some suspects and detailed descriptions of methods that were used. Lyle and I were going over the evidence when Milo burst into the room.
• “Is it true?!” he growled, putting Lyle immediately on the defensive.
