Chapter 31 Trenta

• The conversation about me falling in love again felt like the dark clouds looming over us were finally replaced by blue skies. We talked about something else afterward, including Levi, who acted as a guide by showing me the places we passed along the lake, including his father’s vineyard. He even taught me how to navigate the boat. Zack’s name was not mentioned again, and instead, he started telling me about his employees in Zurich and his dream to expand his business. I can't remember if Levi told me about those things when we were still in Bali, but it didn't matter. He quickly swam before I reminded him we had to return for lunch. I preferred being here because I could think about anything without anyone bothering me or asking what I was thinking.
• When we finally arrived at the vineyard, Levi's parents were already waiting to greet us. Even though I had seen their photos before, I was still surprised because Levi's dad was tall. I wouldn't be surprised if I heard stories that Levi’s dad was a ladies' man when he was young. Mama Levi, on the other hand, was a typical Italian woman. She was not too tall, with dark hair peeking out from her gray hair, making her appearance even warmer. She even kissed my cheek when we got out of the car. Ferro was already there too. He asked if Levi had ever intended to skip lunch, to which Levi responded by kissing Ferro. Levi’s mom just shook her head at her son's behavior while I chose not to interrupt their moment.
• I was taken on a tour of the vineyard, and several times Levi reminded his dad that I wasn't a wine entrepreneur, so they had to use simpler terms to explain the process or the wine they produced. Their vineyard mostly produced Merlot, but Levi and his father also planned to buy another vineyard to grow a different type of grape. We headed for lunch because they had fed me with too much information, and they just laughed when I clearly stated that I wouldn’t be able to remember everything they told me.
