• Skylar did not know what else to do. Confused and heartbroken, she decided to walk around the premises for some minutes so as to clear her head. The thoughts of Xander taking the bullet for her was heartbreaking. Earlier, when he was in her arms in the pool of his own blood, gasping for breath, she could see the look love and determination in his eyes.
• She remembered the previous times when he had saved her from danger and she didn't even have the slightest idea that he was the one. Deciding to bring one's father down is a very tough decision one can ever take but watching him fight his father just for her was emotional. She had escaped countless death attempts all thanks to him. She desperately wanted to save him in return. She was not going to sit back and watch her lover die. She had to think and do something to save his life.
