• Skylar woke up with a terrible heartache. She kept having nightmares throughout the night and constantly, she would see her parents in them.
• She sat up and buried her head in her palms trying to ruminate over the events of the previous weeks. Nailing Fredrick Winfield was not as easy as she thought. The man had covered his tracks so perfectly that seeing a flaw in his business and personal life would be so difficult. Officer Keith and the other cops had done all they could to get him arrested but each time they were about to get a lead or clue, Fredrick seemed to always be one step ahead of them, destroying the hints and clues.
