Chapter 33

• ASHLEY'S POV
• I woke up to the sound of waves crashing outside. It was very soothing, so much that I found it difficult to get out of bed. So for a moment I laid there, wrapped up in the warmth of the sheets. I haven't had a good sleep like this in months. It was peaceful, Too peaceful.
• Then I turned over to the other side of the bed, expecting him to be there, but it was empty. Where did he go? Then I perceived it, the faint smell of bacon filled the air. I slipped out of bed, did a little exercise before making my way downstairs.
