• “Ashley, are you okay? Uncle Michael's voice broke through the silence as I stood by his office desk. The proposal neatly laid out before him.
• Ever since I saw Aunty Kate yesterday, I couldn't stop thinking about the conversation I had with my father. He doesn't lie to me, he doesn't keep secrets from me. But why do I feel like he's hiding something from me this time? And then there was Aunty Kate, she coming to our house uninvited was unusual.
