Chapter 122
- ASHLEY'S POV
- My new car made a low rhythmic sound beneath us—a deep sound that made people turn their heads as we passed. Dax was in the driver's seat since he offered to drive us to the venue and party with us, and Micheal sat beside me in the back, his arm stretched casually across the seat and behind my shoulders.
- The streets blurred past—street lights, restaurant signs, and the occasional flash of people's phone as they tried to take a picture of my new car. I was trying to relax into the night when my phone buzzed, lightening up the name I didn't want Micheal to see.
