Chapter 36 What Have I Done!

• Alana sat alone in the room now, her heart pounding against her ribs like it was trying to escape the cage of confusion wrapped around her. The sterile scent of disinfectant lingered in the air, but inside her, everything felt... wrong.
• “Trixx?” she called out to her wolf, her mental voice trembling. “ What's happening?"
• “oh my dear Alana,” Trixx replied, her presence immediate, protective, but just as confused. “ Alana, this doesn’t make sense. None of it does. We would’ve felt it. I would’ve smelled it. Hormonal changes, body shifts….it’s impossible for us not to know.”
