• Seraphina shifted against the leather seat, her hands smoothing the fabric of her dress for the hundredth time, though it didn’t make her nerves settle. Nicholas had basically forced her into wearing a black silk gown he’d chosen from the collection of fancy, expensive dresses in the villa’s wardrobe, insisting she looked the part.
