Chapter 119
- Dane
- Watching Lusia being put to sleep was one of the hardest things to watch. I couldn't stand seeing her like this. There was something going on with her that I couldn’t just understand. She was changing and not in the way I had expected. I thought that her time with Florence would make her feel better and stronger. But I was wrong. I had thought that helping her wake her wolf would make her feel stronger and better. I was also wrong.
- I was wrong. She didn’t just wake up her wolf. She had woken up something sinister inside her as well. Something darker and I just couldn't understand what it was. But I knew one thing, it was her wolf. Her wolf was much too strong for her. And it made me wonder if it was because of how weak she was before she got it. Her wolf had been sealed away for so long that it caused a rampage each time it sprung up. It was almost like it was a different being entirely. They didn’t synchronize properly. That was why she didn’t have control over it.
