• My eyes opened slowly and I stared at the environment around me. I was in Dane’s room. Of course, after the bath, he had put me to sleep. But just before that, he had given me one of the best feelings I hadn’t felt in a long time. I had been in extreme heat and he had quenched that so easily. It was a surprise to me. I could remember how badly it hurt. I didn’t want to feel like that again. The heat had been uncontrollable. It was nothing I had ever felt before. But Dane had still managed to save the day. And die that, I owed him.
• I stirred on the bed to find a figure lying with me. I turned around and realized that it was Dane. I was surprised by this. It was really him, and he was on the same bed with me. This was the first time this was happening. Ever since he had moved me to his room for safety purposes, he had never slept here. Why would he do so tonight?
