Chapter 57 Bond's Spiral

• After Brutus left, one of the housekeepers escorted me to the room where Jerry and I would be staying. Calling it a room felt laughable. It’s more like a luxurious penthouse, enormous and lavish, complete with two separate bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, a living room, and a back door leading to a private garden.
• The room Jerry and I are apparently supposed to share is decorated with rose petals and flowers.
• I pick the other room instead; a much smaller one with a single bed, and lock myself inside.
