• I can't get Laura out of my mind. Seeing her yesterday morning had put me at some ease, but not nearly enough. I need to see her. I need to speak to her one-on-one. I have to tell her how sorry I am. Most importantly, I want her to fix her eye.
• I've made up my mind. I’m going to see Keres first thing today. I managed to find out where that bloodsucker lives, and now I’m on my way to his property. Shockingly, the slimeball stays in my part of Vibrantia. I can’t believe Laura was so close to me all this time.
