Chapter 23 Lullaby

• “You focus on this part.” We’ve entered Randall’s office. We checked the CCTV, but someone had unexpectedly turned the camera off, but luckily, there was an extra CCTV opposite our house where the power transformer was.
• “Who do you think is behind this plan?” Randall is now seated in front of the monitor, with me behind him, as we observe how the box is being left in front of the gate. The man was dressed in a hat and black. Because he’s turned his back on the CCTV, we can’t see what he looks like.
• “Well, I’m not sure, but we’ll try to find out.” He looked up at me even though his body was still facing the monitor and his head was lying back and aimed at me. Because our faces were so close, I blushed instantly at his small gesture.
