- "How is he?" Neien's father immediately asked when Terrence came out of the room. The young man went to check on his son's condition. Neien has suffered depression and had violent episodes. Only Terrence can unbelievably talk to him. He is a well-known psychiatrist, after all.
- "He's about to die," Terrence answered his uncle.
- "Terrence! I don't have time for pranks!" his uncle said, irritated.
