Chapter 4 III

• *HARRA
• I was staring at the white wall in front of me. Still can't believe what happened. I stared at Yul lying on the hospital bed. I can't bear to betray him, but I don't want to lose him either. I'm sure he won't like what I would do. If he wakes up knowing what I did, he would probably wish to have never awakened. I was lost in my clouds of thoughts when the door of Yul's room opened, and the doctor came in. She looks troubled, and her aura is heavy.
• "Yes, Doctor?" I asked her, a bit nervous about how she seems right now. She shook her head and drew a deep sigh.
• "I'm sorry... but you need to pay Yul's bills right now because otherwise, we can't do anything but... stop the machine," she announced sadly. I dumbly looked at her when she handed me the bill she was holding. My eyes widened at the amount of zero there. I almost fainted when it showed me I owe them half a million.
• "D-Doc, what's with this huge amount? Shouldn't it have been reduced because I'm paying? I have never missed a bill once. There must be some mistake!" I was taken aback by the amount they're giving me. The doctor just shook her head and turned her back on me.
• I felt my knees wobble as I lost my strength. I sat down on the floor, my face buried in my hands. Where can I get such a lot of money?! Right now? I looked up to Yul, calmly resting. I smiled sadly, staring at him. I have never felt this helpless; I can't rely on anyone. I don't know whom to run. No one to comfort me, no one to assure me that everything will be fine. It made me realize again that I truly have only Yul. I can feel my breath hitch and my sight turning white as I hear white noises, feeling that I'll faint anytime. He was lying there peacefully as if he was sleeping; I must not give him up. He gave me everything before. I have to provide him with everything now. I can't give him up! My heart ached, thinking that I can only think of one solution.
• "I'm sorry, Yul. I love you and I can't afford to lose you. I'd rather have you awake even if you'll hate me," I told him in tears. I kissed him on the forehead and decided to go to the devil, who honored his words if I don't accept his arrangement. I wiped my tears and opened the door when I saw the devil was out there, staring at me with his annoyingly small grin.
• "Thanks. She's here now. Expect an investment proposal in this hospital to be approved," Neien ended the call with a smile as he stared at me. My palms immediately balled. "So I suppose, the doctor told you. I came here just in case you'll need me badly," he stepped closer and caressed my cheeks. I was so outraged that I didn't realize my palm had landed on his face. Stunned, he angrily turned his head on me and pulled me into Yul's private room. He took my hands behind me and wrapped another arm in my waist in front of Yul as if he was hugging me from the back.
• "Let go of me!" I struggled away from his grip. He rested his head on my shoulder and held me tighter.
• "Even if you scream your lungs out and exhaust yourself. No one will come to help you. Not even your useless boyfriend," he whispered in my ear as he gently bit on it. I felt so disgusted with his body against mine.
• "P-please ..." my voice cracked. Neien sighed and decided to let go of my hands, still one of his arms locked around my waist while his other hand caressed my hair. My hands were shaking, I'm so angry , but I couldn't do anything at all.
• "Harra, don't make it hard for you. You see, all you have to do is ask me and I'll do anything for you. In return, you have to submit yourself to me, for the whole duration of our contract ," he gently said, playing with my hair with his hand. I can't help but cry again.
• "Why me? There's a lot of women out there! Just choose them instead. If you want me to kneel in front of you, I will. Just don't choose me," I begged him. He hugged me tightly.
• "You don't understand, Harra. It has to be you. I don't want anything aside from you signing the contract. Don't force me to do more, I can go any great lengths to make you agree. You can 't do anything because you're the one I chose and you're not in the place to question my decision. I can fvck you, here. With this useless bastard lying on that bed, "he gave me little kisses on my neck . I shivered.
• I know this is wrong. But I had no choice. I hated the way he simply touched me. I don't want to do this, but I also don't want to lose Yul. I cried helplessly. All my life, all I did was suffer. I have no idea what I did to deserve this but was I not worth having a simple life, simple happiness, and a simple way of living? Have I offended destiny so severely that I keep being put in a situation that I can't escape?
• "Hush now..." he whispered as his hand sneaked under my shirt, caressing my waist. "Everything's going to be alright if you choose to be with me instead," he tried to kiss my cheek, but I turned my head the other way. He grasped my face and kissed my mouth aggressively. I can't breathe! I kept thrashing around to free from his hold, but he was stronger than me, that he just held me in place and put his tongue inside my mouth . "If you bit me, I'll fvck you here," he warned. I was gasping for air when he spoke. I almost died with a kiss. What more could he do to me? I can only cry as I lean on him for support.
• 'I'm sorry, Yul.'
• My tears kept falling at the same time I surrendered to the hands of this devil.
