Chapter 2 : So Soft, So Fragrant

  • Ye Ming was puzzled, but he also saw the figure and understood it to some extent. He quickly went to the bed and accidentally pressed on Gu Xiaonan.
  • "So soft, so fragrant," he sighed in his heart.
  • Ye Ming felt two soft things pressing against his chest. In the summer, clothes were already thin, so the feeling was even more apparent.
  • Gu Xiaonan blushed and quickly pushed Ye Ming aside.
  • "My mom is watching us from outside, so behave yourself," she whispered.
  • Ye Ming nodded.
  • After a while, the shadow left, and the two of them breathed a sigh of relief.
  • "Why does your mom have this hobby? She even peeks at her daughter's wedding night," Ye Ming asked speechlessly.
  • "Didn't I tell you just now? My mom has mild dementia and is hoping for me to get married and have children. This old house is dilapidated with big gaps. If you sleep on the floor, she might see it.
  • Anyway, you can sleep on the bed for these two days to avoid my mom discovering our fake marriage."
  • As she spoke, she took out a pillow and placed it between them.
  • "But we need to set some rules. You can't cross this pillow, otherwise, I'll make you regret it."
  • Ye Ming was helpless too. Sleeping next to a beautiful woman, occasionally catching a faint fragrance, and even being able to see a hint of snow-white through the moonlight, anyone would find it unbearable.
  • He simply turned over, suppressing the restlessness in his heart, and thought about the future.
  • "Now that I have this inheritance, won't I be able to thrive? With just these eyes, I can do things that many people can't. Grandma, I can finally avenge you!" His eyes turned slightly red.
  • His biggest wish now was naturally to seek justice for his grandmother, but he also had an important task to accomplish, which was to make money.
  • His family was already impoverished, and although he had paid off the debts with the money Gu Xiaonan gave him, he had no savings. Even if he went to the city, he would worry about his parents.
  • His eyes lit up as he thought of something. There was an antique market in the town. He decided to go there tomorrow and, with his sharp eyes, he might be able to find some treasures, sell them at a good price, and solve his urgent needs.
  • Lost in his thoughts, Ye Ming fell asleep.
  • The next day, the sun shone through the cracks, and Ye Ming felt a soft touch on his left arm and his right hand resting on something soft and fluffy. He squeezed it and found it quite comfortable.
  • He wanted to continue sleeping but was suddenly slapped.
  • "You pervert!"
  • Gu Xiaonan shouted.
  • Ye Ming woke up, seeing Gu Xiaonan not far away, and immediately understood what had happened.
  • "You shameless pervert, how dare you touch me!"
  • Gu Xiaonan just wanted to find a hole to hide in.
  • Ye Ming was stunned, only then did he realize what the soft touch was just now. Could it be... he almost sprayed blood again, but his right hand was still reminiscing.
  • But when he looked at the bed, he calmly said, "Miss Gu, you can't blame me for this. Look, you squeezed over to my side. We were sleeping, and I couldn't tell the situation. Even if I touched it, it wasn't intentional."
  • Gu Xiaonan knew she was in the wrong. When she woke up just now, she was even hugging Ye Ming, with her legs on him!
  • Ye Ming looked at Gu Xiaonan, who was still angry, pouting like a spoiled child, and couldn't help but find it funny.
  • At this moment, Gu Xiaonan's nightgown was askew, revealing her white right shoulder. Through the gap, he could even see a large expanse of snow-white, smooth and delicate. Ye Ming swallowed a few mouthfuls of saliva.
  • "A beauty, she's simply a beauty," he sighed in his heart.
  • "What are you looking at? Get up quickly!" Gu Xiaonan coldly snorted, not wanting to bring up what just happened. Anyway, they would only endure each other for these two nights. Once they returned to the city, they would each have their own room, and the other wouldn't take advantage of her.
  • The two of them got out of bed and went outside, but they didn't expect Gu Xiaonan's mother, Li Ping, to have already prepared breakfast, standing there with a smile on her face.
  • "Son-in-law, come, come and have some," Li Ping beckoned, and Ye Ming didn't know whether he should go or not. He forced a smile and only sat at the dining table after Gu Xiaonan pushed him.
  • Seeing the contents on the table, he smiled bitterly. Bullwhip, pig kidneys, all so-called "tonics."
  • Li Ping leaned in and said, "Son-in-law, eat up. If you eat this, you'll grow big, and I can have a grandchild soon!"
  • Ye Ming could only force a smile and felt like a fool.
  • He took a few bites and remembered something, quickly saying, "Mom, Xiaonan, I have something to take care of. You guys eat, I'll leave first."
  • Li Ping quickly put the biggest bullwhip in Ye Ming's bowl.
  • "Son-in-law, finish eating before you leave. If you eat it, you'll grow big, and I can have a grandchild!"
  • Cold sweat broke out on Ye Ming's forehead, and he quickly left, running away.
  • Leaving Gu's Village, he touched the bank card in his pocket. There were 20,000 yuan in it, which made him feel a little relieved.
  • This money was given to him by Gu Xiaonan. In total, there were 80,000 yuan, and he had paid off 60,000 yuan in debts, leaving only this much.
  • Thinking that he sold his inheritance for 80,000 yuan, he felt somewhat desolate.
  • "I'll go to the antique market in town and see if I can find any treasures," he thought.
  • He used to be afraid to dabble in that stuff, after all, it was too complicated. But now that he had these eyes, maybe he could see something extraordinary!
  • In the past decade or so, many large tombs were unearthed near Gu's Village and Ye's Village. Tomb raiders were rampant, and as a result, some valuable items ended up in the hands of villagers who considered them ordinary objects.
  • Some people who understood antiques collected these items in the village, bought them at low prices, and then sold them at high prices in town or the city. This had become an unwritten rule in the industry.
  • Ye Ming planned to go to town and see if he could get his hands on something truly valuable. With his keen eyes, he might be able to become rich!
  • He set up a makeshift motorcycle at the village entrance and headed towards town in a hurry.
  • The antique market in town was always bustling. People from surrounding villages and towns came here, and even some important figures from the city came to treasure hunt.
  • Ye Ming walked around, his eyes darting everywhere. Suddenly, his eyes lit up, and he walked into a shop.
