Chapter 25 Tear Them Apart!

• Evan's eyes flew open as he looked right next to him at Avery, who was sleeping peacefully. He placed his finger close to her nose, making sure her breathing had evened out.
• He opened the drawer of the nightstand beside the bed and pulled out a small bottle with a white lid. He poured some of its contents into his palm before gulping it down.
• Soon after, Evan lay back down and returned to sleep. The next morning, Avery woke up to find arms wrapped around her, causing her eyes to widen in shock.
