Chapter 26 Kiss

• "You can stop pretending now because I know you are awake." Ares stated calmly as soon as he stepped inside the penthouse while carrying Hyacinth in his arms. Hyacinth felt her heartbeat rise quickly upon hearing his words. She forced herself to stay calm and pretend like she was still sleeping.
• Ares rolled his eyes at her presence. Did she really think she could fool him with her poor acting skills? "Do you want me to drop you on the floor?" He threatened with an evil smirk playing on the corner of his lips.
• "What! No!" Hyacinth's eyes shot open as she quickly tightened her arms around his neck with a terrified expression on her face, afraid of falling down. However, before she could predict what's coming next, she was suddenly dropped on the floor. Thankfully, he was gentle enough not to hurt her. Hyacinth's expression turned into a glare as she looked at Ares while sitting down on the floor with her legs crossed.
