Chapter 16 Rings

• Ares averted his eyes from Hyacinth before shifting them on Miranda who purposely put the ring boxes in front of him, totally ignoring Hyacinth as if she was invisible. Ares didn't like her audacity at all because no matter what Hyacinth was still wife and he would be damned if he let anyone disrespect her.
• "Place them in front of my wife." He ordered coldly while gesturing to Miranda to place the ring boxes in front of Hyacinth . Hyacinth felt her traitor heart skip a beat when he again called her his wife. He addressed her twice like that in the same day.
• "Apologies. Please have a look Mrs Savelli." Miranda's face fell for a second before she quickly recovered. She wasn't any fool. She knew exactly what Ares's words meant. It was a clear warning for her and she was wise enough to back off.
