Chapter 24
- I go out of the room for a bit after our little dinner. When I return later, Brandon is sitting on his bed with his legs crossed, holding his iPad. I realize that he’s changed the bed covers as well.
- He smiles at me. “I just thought it might be more comfortable for you.”
- “Are we going to sleep now?” I ask. It’s kind of early, and I still want to spend more time with him while conscious.
