Chapter 39 A Difficult Choice
- Apparently, it wasn’t just Rhea who kept daydreaming and couldn’t concentrate—Dion was experiencing the same thing. The only difference was, while Rhea looked joyful and often smiled to herself, Dion appeared gloomy and unenthusiastic. His odd behavior didn’t go unnoticed by his two best friends, Brandy and Alvin.
- Dion jolted in surprise when Brandy suddenly slammed his desk hard. They were in class, but since the lecturer was absent and had only assigned them work to be submitted the same day, the students were free to work on their own.
- “Instead of working on the assignment, you’re daydreaming? What’s on your mind?” Alvin asked as he joined Brandy in approaching Dion.
