Chapter 12 Argument

Rhea noticed it the moment she stepped into the office and walked toward her room—many pairs of eyes were watching her. Her employees greeted her politely as usual when passing by, but they would start whispering afterward. Rhea knew very well they were talking about her.
Although she felt uncomfortable with the behavior of her staff, she tried to ignore it. All she wanted right now was to get to her office as quickly as possible and go through several important reports, especially since she hadn’t come in yesterday.
“Good morning, Miss,” Monica greeted as Rhea passed by her desk.
