• Ever since reading the message on his phone, Dion hadn’t stopped smiling. It was from Rhea. He was thrilled, thinking that she had finally forgiven him—especially because in the message, she had asked him to come home.
• As soon as he arrived at Rhea’s house, he walked right in without knocking or ringing the doorbell first. Fortunately, the door wasn’t locked.
• “Where is she? Did she skip work today because she asked me to come home right away?” Dion muttered to himself, sensing something odd since Rhea should’ve been at her office at that time.
