• Kathryn felt her heart racing hard against her chest with the thoughts that were in her mind. ‘I just turned Alpha Damien down. Was what I did right?’ She thought in her head.
• She felt like going back to Alpha Damien to apologize to him. But then, she held herself. ‘He would only see himself as my lord and then sexualize me again and again. I won't let that happen, not anymore.’ She made a strong decision in her mind.
