Chapter 10

  • The next day,
  • As I felt the cold feeling of the ground on my skin, I realized I was still locked in the cold, dark dungeon with no food and water. Dragging my weak body off the ground, I approached the portcullis and banged on it like my life was depending on it.
  • “Please, let me out, I'm innocent.” I pleaded, but no one came to my rescue. The guards, and every other person seemed to have left me alone, in this underground dungeon to starve to death. Each time I remember my mate, and the way how much he hates me, there's this indescribable pain I feel in my heart. No matter how hard I try not think about it, it keeps invading my mind, just like a silent poison that was set to kill in just a few weeks.
