Chapter 60 Sixty

• My legs are frozen to the ground, literally frozen. I look down and see a block of ice gluing my feet to the stone floor. Ekaterina cast a spell to root me in place. The ice isn't freezing my legs, probably something to do with her fire magic mixed in, but it's doing its job of keeping me stuck.
• 'Please stop!' I beg through the mind link, tears streaming down my face. 'The silver will kill you!'
• But he doesn't stop. He spits blood, his body convulsing as the poison enters his system. The bars groan under his grip, and I can see the silver eating through muscle, exposing bone beneath the charred flesh.
