Chapter 36 Thirty-six
- Later in the day, Chloe and Ana come over to the house to visit me. We settle in the living room—me curled up on the couch, Ana in the armchair, and Chloe perched on the arm of the sofa with a mischievous gleam in her eyes.
- "So," Chloe says, her hands moving through signs with exaggerated slowness. "Tell me."
- "Tell you what?" I sign back, genuinely confused.
