Chapter 62

• Two days passed and Emma was still unconscious. He stayed with her at all times, telling her stories and occasionally cleaning her. He also made sure the room was neat with lots of flowers that gave the room a nice scent.
• During the afternoon, he made his way to her side as usual. He reached out to touch her hand, his eyes closed in concentration. And then, he felt a surge of energy, a connection between them that he had never felt before.
• He focused his mind, his thoughts reaching out to her, trying to will her back to consciousness. If only he could. It was an attempt to tell her he missed her.
