Chapter 15

• Emma closed her eyes as a tiny tear dropped on her chin. The wind was beating furiously against her face and she could barely see through the thick cover of trees around her.
• She had her arms wrapped tightly around Clyde’s neck as they dashed through the woods. His agility amazed her as he propelled himself faster and faster.
• She didn’t know how she had accepted to go with him. She didn’t understand why she was perched on his back as they moved through the woods. But what she knew was that the last couple of days had messed with her head. She couldn’t keep track of the things she didn’t understand so she just had to add that to her list.
