• By evening, Emma was ready to get something off her chest. She had a quick dinner made by Morris's chef and sat with him. First, it was friendly that he had a tracker in the watch he gifted her without letting her know. Second, she was grateful that she was looking out for her.
• Again, Morris had her open up about the entire incident. But, she left the narration of werewolves and Clyde's true identity and the fact that he was her mate as it was called in their world. That was too much unnecessary information.
• Morris had light snacks made with fruits. He made a cozy outdoor cinema in his garden and had Emma stay with him as they watched a romantic comedy show while snacking. To comfort Emma, he made sure he had her wrapped around him and occasionally kissed her, which she returned. Deep into the night, they fell asleep in each other's arms.
