- The weight of Luna Dayo's words still pressed against my chest as I led Darragh toward his bedroom. Her confession about the prophecy, about her role in Riona's exile, about her acceptance of what might come; it all swirled in my mind like storm clouds. But I pushed those thoughts aside. Right now, in this moment, I knew I needed to distract Darragh from his fear. I knew I needed to shield him from obsessing over it. Because it was what he would do for me.
