Chapter 4

  • Life wasn't easy for Marshall, in the human territory. He had to hide his scent and lock up his wolf. He also changed his name to Anderson to hide his identity completely. Taking care of the twins and his son wasn't easy either as things weren't the way he thought they would be. He had to look for a manual job to take care of them all. Although it took him a while to adjust to human life and to hide his wolf, he was glad he did.
  • In the end, he did not only adjust to human life but was also able to make a name for himself. He became the CEO of the Anderson Arts and Museum. An exhibition center for arts and also a place where tourists could visit and have fun . But with all his achievements, he still couldn't stop been afraid that a day will come when the Munar pack's Alpha will know he's alive and find him.
  • SOME YEARS LATER
  • Anderson was seated, reading a newspaper. It's Monday morning and a few days to one of his art exhibitions. He adjusted his glasses and resting his back on the couch, he smiled. His face was all over the newspaper as the number third richest in New York. A name he had successfully build for himself just within a short time.
  • He sigh. How he wished his friend was here. How he wished Silvermoon pack was still alive. It would have been a dream come true for them both. He could still remember the promise he made to his friend about owning an art gallery. He did not only own one or two but over a hundred; not just in one country but in over fifty countries.
  • He raised his head, Looking into space. Although it has been thirteen years now, and Silvermoon had been long forgotten, he still couldn't stop having that bad dream. The dream involving how lives were wasted on that faithful day. The day he lost his friend and his wife. The day he lost his wife. The same day Silvermoon was rendered useless.
  • "Dad are you in deep thought again?" Jasmine asked as she walked into the living room in her usual male shirt and trouser.
  • Anderson smiled. "No, darling. Where are you going dressed like this?"
  • She chuckled, sitting beside him. "Come on, dad. It's Monday morning remember. I need to go to school"
  • "Dressed in male clothing?"
  • Jabal walked in. "You know she's always like that"
  • Jasmine groaned. "Can't you support your twin for once? Huh?"
  • "Nah. Not in that aspect"
  • "Whatever!!" Jasmine rolled her eyes, adjusting her bag
  • Anderson smiled. "Where is Jamal?"
  • Arden now known as Jamal walked in. "I'm here dad, am I missing something?"
  • "No, no. Dad thinks my clothes are not proper and as usual, Jabal supports him" Jasmine answered with an eye roll
  • Jamal giggled. Come on, dad. Jas' hot"
  • "That's my kid bro. You're the best"
  • Jabal groaned. "Whatever" he mumbled. He tapped his fingers on the table, getting bored of where the conversation is leading to. "Can we leave please?"
  • Their dad adjusted his eyeglass. "I think Jabal is right. You should get going"
  • Jasmine tilted her head. "No breakfast?"
  • Their dad laughed. "I already asked Bethany to pack some for you all"
  • They said their goodbyes and left the house in the latest Ranger rover.
  • **
  • They stepped down from the car, majestically. All three were wearing black shades. As usual, Jasmine wore her face cap to the back. One could hardly know she is a female. She had been confused so many times as a cute boy with a girly face.
  • They walked amidst the crowd of people who wouldn't stop staring at them. They got to Jamal's locker first and made sure he picked his books. "I should head to class now. See you at lunch" he said when he was done
  • Jasmine rolled her eyes. "You know I won't accept that. We are going with you to class"
  • Jamal "Come on, Jas. You know I'm old enough to take care of myself right?"
  • Jabal rested his back on the locker. "Jasmine, free him. He can go to class alone. We should head to ours"
  • "Just shut the hell up ok?" Jasmine gestured sharply with her hand. "And it's Jas, not Jasmine"
  • "Like seriously? Are......."
  • Jamal yawned. "Jabal, come on. You both shouldn't start now"
  • "We are taking you to cla......." Someone jumped on her, and she groaned. "Beverly!!"
  • Beverly chuckled. "Oh, Jas!!"
  • "Can you free me? You're suffocating my innocent self"
  • Beverly chuckled. "Sorry"
  • Jabal moved closer to Jamal and whispered, "I think you should leave now that she's busy"
  • "That's definitely what I will do"
  • Jasmine raised an eyebrow. "I heard that ok?"
  • Jabal rolled his eyes. "Well that's the truth"
  • A boy walked closer to them. "Hey Jab, hey Jas"
  • Jamal scoffed. "I'm now too small, right? Alvin?"
  • Alvin chuckled. "I'm so sorry. How are you Jam"
  • Jamal groaned. "It Jamal not Jam". Alvin giggled. "You know what, I'm off to class. See you guys later"
  • Beverly waved. "Bye Jamal"
  • Jasmine smiled. "Take care little bro"
  • "Bye bro" Jabal cooed
  • "Bye," Alvin said with an eye roll. He turned to face Jabal. "We should get to class. We are having maths this morning"
  • Jasmine groaned. "Don't tell me it's Mr. Spooner"
  • Beverly rolled her eyes. "Of course, it is"
  • Jabal sigh, placing his headphone. "We should head to class then"
  • All four walked to their various locker first to get their books before heading to class.
