Chapter 27 The Meeting

• The last alpha arrived when the sky was painted the color of burnt orange, decorated with purple clouds and the glow of the almost-setting sun, the stars like scattered diamonds.
• Chase sat upright on his seat, situated like a throne in the room. The chairs the alphas occupied were more than twenty, two sandwiched in between two rows of chairs each, and all of these chairs had an occupant.
• Chase had called for this meeting for one reason and one reason only, and that was to get rid of the witches. Regarding the healers, well, that would just be killing two birds with one stone. The altercation with that kind of werewolf was not the main event, but surely it would be addressed.
