Chapter 16 Kiari

• Kiari received the invitation to Alpha Chase’s pack house. Before she stepped out of the healer’s pack house, she passed by a certain someone who never lifted her eyes to meet hers.
• Kiari walked past her with a dying hope that a day would come when she would actually be brave enough to stare back at her. There was nothing wrong with being mates with someone of the same gender.
• However, she had stayed with such hope beating in her like a second heart for so long, but it never happened. Celyn never looked at her no matter how much she tried. The many conversations she had tried to engage her in only ended with Celyn walking out of the room or gluing herself to the wall, trying to be invisible.
