Chapter 114

• 10 Years Later.
• Damien was at his favorite spot. It was in the wilderness of the Yosemite National Park. He was on a hill that overlooked the entire park. All around him the landscape stretched out before him. Trees that were turning to shades of reds, yellows, and oranges transformed the landscape into a fiery scenery.
• He came every year at this time to observe the leaves changing colors. The crisp air and the landscape rejuvenated him. Whenever he came here he would be depleted of energy, but he would leave, feeling restored.
