Chapter 5 William, You Like this type of Girl!

  • After the words were spoken, Joan left arrogantly, while Peggy slowly raised her head, took out a penny, and boarded the bus.
  • Simultaneously, as soon as William arrived at the company, the assistant delivered Peggy's information.
  • He took it and read it through coldly, but his face sank when he discovered the awful actions that Peggy had taken. He was repulsed, both subliminally and physically.
  • Peggy had worked in a bar for a long time. She was a bunny girl. She often did not return in the middle of the night, indicating that her body and mind were dirty.
  • Peggy's face looked a lot like Joan's, but Madame Barbara was so exacting that she would never look for such a girl to send to his room.
  • So, it wasn't her.
  • The phone rang the next moment, and William looked at it, picked up the call, and said, "What's the matter?"
  • "William, I just returned from abroad to settle down. Shouldn't we get together tonight? We were once the four youthful masters of Pontenero, but we haven't seen each other in two or three years. I don't care. You must attend if you are a friend. Red Shift is the location. I will forward the room number to you.”
  • Robert ended the call abruptly before William could reply.
  • But he did manage to get a glimpse of Red Shift's location on the data.
  • His expression changed somewhat when the assistant entered with the evening work to mingle at this time. Before the assistant could react, William remarked coldly, "All the nighttime assignments have been rescheduled."
  • "Mr. Soto, but the person we are going to see tonight is... the boss of Omnilert Group," said the assistant, startled.
  • "Make it tomorrow instead."
  • The assistant didn't dare to ask any more and replied, “Okay!”
  • Red Shift was already fairly busy when night fell.
  • During the intermission, Peggy changed into the workplace uniform.
  • She was staring at her swollen and reddish-red right cheek in the mirror. She straightened out her emotions, pulled out her beauty bag, applied lipstick, patted powder on her face, and delicately stroked her eyebrows.
  • Peggy looked at the rabbit ears in the corner.
  • She scowled. She was able to sell more wine while wearing this, and the sales effect was in fact considerably better than before.
  • She needed to increase her income. Her mother took the money away. If she wanted to repay the man's money, she needed to earn it again.
  • Peggy took the bunny ears and put them on before heading backstage to pick up the wine and sell it in the busiest bar.
  • Robert had ordered a large amount of wine on the VIP deck while clutching a gorgeous, hot girl to his left. He watched William approach the bar with a cell phone in his hand to view the market chart.
  • Robert clenched his teeth and said, "William, we agreed to meet and welcome me back to Pontenero. Why are you still working? I'm going to be really bored if you don't come drink with me.“
  • "Yes, Mr. Soto, why don't we have a drink."The woman gave a gorgeous smile, lifted her long hair, and approached quietly.
  • However, as soon as the wine glass was extended, she experienced a powerful feeling of oppression.
  • Robert scowled. He understood that this particular vulgar woman was the one that his brother detested the most. He took out a few stacks of cash from his wallet and said, “Take the cash and roll."
  • The woman quickly became pale, deciding not to antagonize these two people ever again and running off with her wine glass.
  • As Robert said that, he moved toward William's side.
  • "Now that the woman is gone, let us have a good chat. You've been without a woman for a very long time. The unexpected announcement of your marriage occurred. Madame Barbara picked this girl, but don't you ever listen to what your grandmother has to say? Could it be that this girl has a fairy-like appearance? Outstanding aptitude?”
  • William remained expressionless and said, "Go away."
  • "You can't treat women like this, William. I don't have that much fragrance on me," said Robert, looking shocked as he held up his palm and sniffed at himself. “When you get married, you won't be discordant, right?”
  • The moment the voice died away, those indeterminate, heated, tangled shapes flashed before William's eyes for a split second.
  • Robert didn't care about William's response. He knew his brother too well. He hadn't lived that way in so many years. He was frightened that he wouldn't have it even when he grew old.
  • It's unfortunate that his superior genes were not passed on to a successor.
  • With a sigh, his eyes wandered aimlessly until they landed on a distant girl wearing a sea-blue uniform.
  • “Oh my god, there are still such little cuties in the bar now. This girl is very beautiful, but she is dressed so conservatively to sell wine that I'm afraid she won't be able to sell it tonight.”
  • William looked up and took a quick look. With just one glance, his thin lips were pursed slightly, his aura darkened, and he was staring at the girl.
  • His rage appeared to surge at the sight of the girl grinning at the male customers.
  • "The girl has lovely eyes and snowy skin. It's unfortunate that she overdresses. She will be rejected by the others. I'm a little interested in her drink-selling strategy."
  • "Yeah."
  • Robert was taken aback and glanced at William, shocked.
  • Did he just say these words?
  • Just before his eyes were about to pop out, he asked rhetorically, "Huh?" to William.
  • William was agitated and said, "Then call her over."
  • "William, do you like this type of girl? Then I must call her over for you today," Robert smiled.
